COLONEL PHILLIP W. GUY
Colonel Phillip W. Guy is the Commander, 192nd Maintenance Group, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. He is responsible for a group composed of two squadrons that maintains worldwide deployment and employment of combat ready F-22A aircraft in support of COMACC, CENTAF, USAFE, and PACAF war plans.
Col Guy was commissioned in 1987 following graduation from the United States Air Force Academy. He served 14 years in the active duty before transitioning to the Virginia Air National Guard in 2001. He has served in a number of flying and staff positions. He is a U.S. Air Force Weapons School graduate and a command pilot with more than 3,000 hours in the F-16 and F-22A. During his career, he has participated in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Noble Eagle.
