Virginia Secretary of Public Safety Marla Graff Decker visited the 192nd Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base May 28, 2013. During her visit, she received a guided tour of the unit and met with the men and women of the 192nd FW.

Decker received briefings at the 192nd FW Headquarters, the 149th Fighter Squadron and the 192nd Intelligence Squadron.

Col. Keith Wark, 192nd FW commander, Col. Robert J. Grey, the wing's aircraft maintenance commander, and Lt. Col. Daniel J. Potas, 149th FS director of operations escorted the safety chief during her visit.

During the F-22 Raptor aircraft tour, Decker experienced first-hand what the 192nd FW does to support both its state and federal missions. While interacting with aircraft maintenance crew chiefs who answered her questions about their jobs and the fifth-generation fighter, maintainers launched and recovered eight aircraft during her visit.

Decker is responsible for 12 state agencies, including first responders and Virginia Army and Air National Guard personnel.
