Members of the 192d deployed to Southwest Asia
Pictured here are members of the 192d FW who deployed with the 27th AMU on the first ever deployment of the F-22 to Southwest Asia. This was a historical event for the F-22 Raptor and the raptor maintenance community. Maintainers returned to Langley AFB on Dec. 16th, 2009. While deployed there, they were able to fly against coalition forces in simulated air-to-air combat. They were also able to perform aerial demonstrations for officials and locals of the area.
