Virginia Air Guard Returns from Japan
Without giving him an opportunity to put his bags down, Anna Joyce, 8, charges her father, U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. William K. Joyce, 192D Fighter Wing aircraft maintenance superintendent, and gives him an unmistakable hug, October 23, 2013. After nearly a six-month deployment to Kadena Air Base, Japan, more than 200 Airmen from 192D Fighter Wing and the 27th Fighter Squadron outfitted with the F-22 Raptor, were assigned to the U.S. Pacific Command as part of a Theater Security Package rotation. TSP deployments provide stability and security while allowing units to integrate with U.S. and Japanese forces. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Carlos J. Claudio/Released)
