Governor visits Airmen from the 192d Fighter Wing
Governor Bob McDonnell receives a brief on weapons and counter-measure capabilities of the F-22 Raptor from Master Sgt. Mark Gilligan, 192d Fighter Wing Maintenance Squadron, Virginia Air National Guard at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, August 13, 2013, during his "This Commonwealth of Opportunity" statewide tour. The F-22 is capable of carrying the Guided Bomb Unit 35 (GBU-35), Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Air Intercept Munitions, (AIM 9 and 120) and 20 millimeter air-to-air munition rounds. Following his mission briefing on the F-22, the governor visited the 192d Intelligence Squadron and received a mission briefing on the Distributed Ground System capabilities.
