Security Forces acquire baton defense training

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Charles Lockmiller, 192nd Fighter Wing Flight Member, demonstrates an ASP expandable baton technique for use by the 192nd Security Forces Flight at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia August 10, 2014. The ASP Expandable Baton is used by Security Forces and law enforcement organizations to deter aggressors and defend themselves from individuals who pose a threat and or attack them while in the field when responding to calls and performing routine stops. The Expandable Baton training is an annual training requirement. Airmen are certified for Use of Force, Non-lethal weapons, and practical application of the baton.
