Airman Drake Gillespie, 192nd Security Forces apprentice, poses for a photo July 28, 2020, at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. Upon receiving new radios for the unit, Gillespie was one of the firsts to volunteer for training on the equipment and ultimately became the expert for communications when the Virginia National Guard was activated amid civil unrest in Richmond, Virginia.
