The Virginia Air National Guard’s 192nd Wing holds a change of command ceremony, Sept. 6, 2025, at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. Col. Andrew M. Weidner, center, the former 192nd Operations Group commander, assumed command from Col. Brock E. Lange. In his new role, Weidner will be responsible for the readiness of more than 1,400 Airmen in the execution of multiple federal and state missions to include F-22 Raptor operations and maintenance, intelligence, cyberspace operations, civil engineering, security forces, and Chemical, Biological, Radiation, Nuclear and Explosive Response Force Package (CERFP).
